Active Streets Active People (ASAP) includes researchers at the Centre for Hip Health and Mobility, the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute. ASAP’s research focuses on the intersections between physical mobility, the neighbourhood built environment, social interactions — and ultimately, how these things impact health. Our goal is to better identify those built environment features that help individuals across the lifespan (1 to 100 yrs) live healthy, active lives in their neighbourhoods.

For more information on the ASAP team and research go to the CHHM website.

This research was supported by the Peter Wall Solutions Initiative and the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies.
